“Socialism aims to liberate the peoples from dependence on a minority which owns or controls the means of production. It aims to put economic power in the hands of the people as a whole, and to create a community in which free men work together as equals.”—Frankfurt Declaration - Wikipedia
“Socialism is an international movement which does not demand a rigid uniformity of approach. Whether Socialists build their faith on Marxist or other methods of analysing society, whether they are inspired by religious or humanitarian principles, they all strive for the same goal — a system of social justice, better living, freedom and world peace.”—Frankfurt Declaration - Wikipedia
It would be warm but not sweaty-hot. Sunny. I’d get up early & walk round Strathclyde Park with my pal George… then have a coffee. I’d then meet up with my family & have brunch… with coffee. We would then go to Byers Road in Glasgow to the museums, boutiques & charityshops there… we’d go for a donder the a coffee. I’d find an obscure film camera for a fiver & would take a load of pics. We’d get home & have a massive barbeque outside in our garden with loads of family & friends there… with great tunes & ping-pong.
That’s my kind of perfect day… and I have them :-)
